biome · radial atmosphere column — Module 2

The cylinder is symmetric along and around its axis, so the only gradient is radius: from the spin axis (top, zero gravity, the linear sun) to the vegetated rim (bottom, 1 g, the cold radiator). This is that 1-D column, evolving under a pulsable sun. Watch the inversion trap warm air aloft, dew/fog bloom at the cool surface each night, and the daytime convective tide ventilate the canopy's CO₂. ← resource cycles (Module 1)

Forcing

day 0.00 · sunlit
Drop the convective mixing to 0 and the canopy CO₂ deficit climbs — the stratification starves the surface and nothing resupplies it. Push the photoperiod to 1 (perpetual day) and the nightly fog never forms.
